SK line wrenches?

Any good? How do they compare? Experiences?

They are as good as it gets, i use mine every day. Backhoes/bobcats/street sweepers/manlifts/fire apparatus --are my thing. mine are a little beat up from years of use, but still going strong. Fit is crucial on line wrenches, not one of the items you want to cheap out on. We are in our usual fall / winter process of putting plows / salt boxes on 33 city dump trucks, and 18 school board / parks and rec pick up trucks. the old S-K line wrenches are getting a workout. Plus this is one of the few times during the year we are allowed to rack up the overtime hrs YEEE.... HA make it rain $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

I have the Craftsman/SK line wrenches. Never had a problem.

Excellent fit and finish, cheaper than truck brands, all US made

Buy some, you won't regret it.

Yeah, I would put my S-K flare nut wrenches up against any others as being solid and worth the money. I only use them on soft line nuts. There might be others who disagree but I think they might be misusing them for things they are not intended to do.

Not to rain on the SK parade but, I had them and didn't like them. Why? First, they weren't offset. Secondly, they were fat, kind of bulky. The area around the flare end was on the thick side. I wasn't impressed with the fit on the set I had. Lastly, they didn't offer an 8mm.
They were cheaper than a truck brand and nicely finished though.

i have a couple i bought at a swap meet as "fill in" wrenches
most of mine are SO or old mac.
havent had a chance to use any of the sk's

Fedwrench is a 100% right. They are nice if you can look past the draw backs above. I love mine but would rather they be slimier. Some complain about them spring open.

Definitely not pro quality.

GoBlue how are your Craftsman RPs holding up? I thought you liked them? I now own the 9 pc set and bought an Allen 16x18 to fill in the missing size Sears no longer sells. Tried it on my brake lines up by the master cylinder and they worked well on a 17 year old car.

I just bought a set on the classifieds here and they should be waiting on me at the house when I get off work. I'll let you know how they are when I get to use them in a few weeks on my jeep

Actually, SK does make an offset version (or angled, at least).

The Rps are great! I need another set though as i currently have none in my home box. .
