sk master combination drive set 4280 with1541 chest

i grew up lusting after 70's and eighties vintage sk tools. some of my first tools were sk and always wanted to create a working version of this set. here it is with some extras for good measure. all sk except for a couple green handle diamond items that match the original sk tools. i think the only thing i am missing is a 6 inch side cutters.

here is the chest.

this is the top compartment loaded and with tools laid out.

pliers, adjustable, 1/2 sockets and drive tools as well 3/8 sockets and drive tools.

this is the top drawer and the contents laid out.

1/4 sockets and drive tools, screwdrivers, 3/8 deep sockets, misc. adapters, v8 socket sae and metric allen sockets and short box wrenches.

this is the lower drawer and it's contents.

combo wrenches from 1/4-1 1/4, ignition set, 3/8 flex sockets, 1/2 deep open end wrenches, 3/8 metric sockets and flare wrench set.

a few add-ons in the original packaging.

1/2 torque wrench, 1/2 extensions and sae spin kit, a 1/4 driver that has a small set of sockets in the handle

who knows if that metric will catch? may as well save some coin and use some sk/dresser era kraeuter metric tools.

3/8 metric socket set in blow molded case and metric wrench set in vinyl pouch.

Nice collection SK, I've never seen the bigger box like that. For some reason it's mostly the flip top socket sets at the flea markets around me

Nice collection. I have one of those little 1/4" socket sets in a green box, I think it's interesting how they sold the same set for years and years with just updates to the graphics on the cardboard insert in the cover.

Awesome setup. SK does make a metal blue case metric set. I bet it's one of the first that hit the market. I missed buying one by a few seconds at the flea market a few years back. I've not seen another since.

thanks for the compliments. i would also like to thank those that helped with this. i doubt i can remember where all of the bits and pieces came from. i probably had at least 10 people who i bought, begged and stole from to put this together. still a few things i would like to change and ad but it is damn close.

a 3/8 torque wrench and a smaller hand carry box are on the list. maybe expanding the kraeuter side as well.
