I’m sure they’ll be overpriced anyway. Haven’t found a set of pinless that haven’t been sold online at tool truck prices. If anyone is aware of a pinless 3/8” set for the about $200 though let me know. Thought the gearwrench would be, but same inflated price.

Does anyone think that SK's prices for the current ones would lower provided that the pinless were released to market?

I haven't bought swivel sockets nor crowsfeet wrenches because the prices seem high. I'm not sure why crowsfeet wrenches aren't cheaper than combination wrenches. Harry Epstein sells the metric at $12.75 per wrench granted they are flare nut. I can't figure it. It is the same number of broaches and stampings with much less metal... I can get by with an universal adaptor instead of buying another set of sockets that swivel. I still want them all, though.

Kind of moot since we'll probably never see a pinless impact from them. At least not any time soon.

As far as crow feet go, the more niche a product is generally the higher the price. A real obvious example of this is 3/4" and 1" drive stuff. Price skyrockets compared to the smaller drive sizes, even for imports, because demand is so low.

Not to hijack the thread but, If you can find a US made set of Gearwrench at a decent price, that may be your best bet aside from a similar Armstrong or craftsman set.

However, i would avoid the new x core Gearwench versions that are made in the PRC though. We have some at work and they're not holding up. The x part is getting beat up. They aren't durable compared to the Matco, Armstrong, or Craftsman versions.

3 years is astonishingly long. Do they forget about their own product ideas?
