I had a snap-on set of these (they were in the snap-on aerospace catalog, but not in the regular one), until someone broke into my hangar and stole my tools - it was 18 years ago so I'm mostly over it.

Useful for tightly spaced b-nuts on AN fittings, since you only need to move the handle 1/12 of a turn at a time, and your b-nuts should only be on one flat beyond finger tight.

I now have a few proto ones. They do fine when I need them.

Haven't used them, but they look dead nuts identical to these line wrenches that are branded under Proto and Williams:

Proto:

Williams:

EDIT:
Also these "URREA" branded ones. Seems like one supplier is making them and everyone is throwing their name on them.

...and Imperial I thought

OEM Tools had the best design, the only issue being the plastic ring that failed but there were workarounds.

I'm STILL trying to find the metric version of the OEMs which vanished from the States....

How are these line wrenches, no cut out to fit over the line?

They pop open, you put them over the line and close them.

See the second photo in the SK link. They ratchet by partially opening as you turn in one direction.

To loosen, you put them over the line facing one direction, to tighten, the other.

ChevyEFI beat me to the reply.
