I was cleaning up some tools last night and I noticed on the handle in small print "FRANCE" These were the solid green (similar to old SO handle), and have the welded driver shaft to the handle hex. I bought a set of phillips and slotted in trays back in the early 90's. Were these made by FACOM? sorry no Pics, camera is down. thanks for your input:headscrat

I think this is the type of screwdriver the OP is referring to. I didn't see them on the Bost website.

Anybody know if there is anywhere to get the green hard handle screwdrivers for a decent price.

I've only been lucky enough to find a loose flat head on the sears clearance shelf. That screwdriver is awesome, if I can't find a full set in the near future I just have to break down and buy the snap on hard handles.

ooops i thought about the green soft handle drivers, the predecessor of the blue SK drivers (Expert2).
But technically they´re Facom/Stanley anyway :D

That may just be the picture. I really like the shape and feel of it, you can get a really good purchase on it without a white knuckle death grip.

So who made them?? The only problem I have had is the shaft breaks at the weld where the hex is at the bottome of the handle. Repl 2 only in 19 yrs
