SK Slim mechanism

I have read references to a drop in mechanism that converts the standard 1/4" drive to 3/8" drive without purchasing the handle. I have the current SK catalog and have looked in their website but the replacements they sell don't specifically state that they fit the standard 1/4" drive handle.

Can anyone clarify please?

They do. I ordered a rebuild kit for a 3/8 thumb wheel ratchet, to convert an extra 1/4 ratchet I had laying around to 3/8. I then later found out they actually sell 3/8 in 1/4 body versions.

Thank you. In hindsight, I could (should) have emailed their customer service.

40970-9 That is the same rebuild kit for the 3/8" Slim's and the 3/8" thumbwheel. The tooth count is 60 just like the normal 1/4" ratchets. This information is available on page 32 of the catalog which is page 33 of the PDF. The slims are the same bodies as far as lengths go.
