Guys. I just picked up a set of SK sockets. That’s all normal so far. What makes them unique though is that they bevel in towards the end. Has anyone seen these before? Do they sale them anymore? I didn’t see them when I googled sk sockets. I’ll get a better picture tomorrow.

I saw a whole set of those SK sockets while I was out garage saling this morning. They had a ton of SK Wayne 1/2” stuff.

I didn’t need any of it, so I didn’t buy it. I do not buy to resell.

Mine got a lot of use over the years.
Never broke one and a few got used pretty hard with an impact more than a few times.

I've heard them called Bullet style. I actually picked up a set 7/16 to 1 1/4 , ratchet , two 4" extensions, spark plug socket and metal case for $20 last weekend . I didn't need them but just couldn't leave them there for that price.

i have another set just marked chrome alloy(not sure of the manufacture) that also have that taper.

they went away from this style I think when facom took over as they were like this in through the seventies for sure I have many like this and many that are the newer straight standard cylinder type shape. it was I'm sure cost savings to do away with this like the early knurling etc.
