Anyone know of a tool dealer, wholesaler, store, etc... that has a pretty good inventory of SK sockets? I am in need of 2 particular sockets and I have discovered that most dealers don't (didn't) really stock much. Looking for a 48230 and a 48236.
thanks guys, scheu

We have an independent SK tool truck dealer here. He stocks a good bit. He's willing to ship items as well. Jackie Rose is his name. His number is (256) 852-2833. He's a good guy to deal with.

I don't know how particularly rare the sockets are that you're talking about, but for giggles you might try Amazon. I've picked up some 'singles' I needed from there in the past with no problems. Can't say how wells stocked the distributors are on there, but I was able to find what I needed most times, even gut kits for ratchets.

Thanks for the replies guys. Alex71 is out of them. Amazon too. I called and left a message for Mr. Rose so we'll see what he's got. If anyone else has suggestion keep them coming.
Thanks again, scheu

Tool Topia has a pretty good selection of SK Stuff. Have you tried looking there? I just purchased some SK Impact sockets from them and the price was pretty good.

Wow that's neat! Does he still have a lot of stock or is he still selling past stock and waiting for the Ideal retool?

I've been doing a bit of reading up on SK. Am I wrong to be excited about what is coming? From what I understand in the first quarter of 2011 they are going to have some new products and apparently everything will be 100% made in the USA. I think under Ideal, SK could see a rise in popularity, if marketed properly of course and if they still make quality products. I'm sure many of us will be happy to see them readily available as from what I understand their sockets are top notch. I guess we'll have to wait and see...

Here is a picture I just took from the holiday sears catalogue...

That page is not in my Sears Holiday Catalog...I wish it was though.

They must be selling from old stock...I find it hard to believe the factory is in operation yet...being under construction and all.
