SK Superkrome Equivalent.... Need Suggestions

I currently have 8 SK Superkrome combo SAE wrenches and I like the fit, look and feel of them, but i am having trouble finding the remaning 7 to make the 15 piece set I would like. I am debating on buying the remaining 7 seperatly or getting a complete 15 set of SK, or simular wrench set and selling the 8 I have to make up part of the cost of the complete set I find. Where I need you help is I would like to get some suggestions on some wrench sets that are pretty much a look alike of the SK with equivalent quality. Maybe something that is more readily found on Ebay or such. I am trying to stick with the chrome look and smooth feel like the Superkromes. or if anyone has a used set, or pieces of an SAE set, look for my ad in the wanted section!! Thanks!

Craftsman sold rebranded SK wrenches back in the day. They are Professional line. They look like SK but stamped "craftsman" on top and "Professional k" on the bottom. the small K indicates it is made by SK.

If you are familiar with the way SK look they are distinct, and easy to spot. squared side beams, and the length the closed end takes to blend in. Some sears have old stock in the individual wrenches.

There are to versions. the regular SK version and the CraftsmanSK raisedpanel version.

I have seen the ones online from sears, my only issue is by the time I purchase the ones i need individually ie: 12/16,7/8,15/16, 1" I will pay the cost of a whole set used. So why not buy a whole set used? I will look for the Craftsman proessional k series.... Thanks!

I completed my sets by buying new as seperates. I found one website that had really good individual prices on every size wrench they make, but it would still probably be cheaper to buy the full set and resell what you have now. In my haste ordering I forgot to order one size, so I trolled ebay for about a week. I ended up with a brand new wrench for less than 1/2 what it would have cost me, shipping included.

Time is running out but maybe you could still snag a set of CM Full Polish Industrial wrenches that are currently on closeout and then sell your SK's.

The CM's are actually longer then regular SK's.

I think CM have both long and short sets matching SK. Though these are getting harder to find these days. I am still trying to find a missing long 14mm.

If you like the SK wrenches,you will probably only be happy with another set of SK's.That being said,there are plenty of great choices of combination wrenches.The Craftsman Industrials are a great choice,but how long will a replacement be around?I like my Craftsman Pro wrenches,but if one breaks,I'm SOL because there isn't a quality replacement.There all all kinds of wrench sets floating around on Ebay depending on what you want or want to pay...Proto,Williams SuperCombo, Mac, Matco, Cornwell,Snap-On, Armstrong, etc.

For a bargain I'd say Armstrong and Williams..Prices go up from there..

The Craftsman Industrials are a great choice,but how long will a replacement be around?I like my Craftsman Pro wrenches,but if one breaks,I'm SOL because there isn't a quality replacement.

I've been using wrenches for decades and have yet to ever break one. Fretting about warranty replacements is wasted worrying IMHO.
