Can anyone who has both or has used both tell me some differences ? Pros or Cons

I just picked up a 23pc set of the KD USA metric wrenches 8-32mm because i was getting frustrated looking for a set of SK. About 3 hours after the KD ones shipped I got a offer to get the SK ones really cheap with the same size set.

I am trying ot figure out if I should just keep the KD ones or pickup the SK ones as well and get rid of the KD

I know the SK ones have the suregrip but i am not sure if the KD ones have the off corner engagement.

Pretty much all the KD wrenches I see have the same off-corner engagement in the box end that you'll see in their twins branded Craftsman, formally NAPA, formally Kobalt, and on and on.

Unless you somehow got a super old set, they'll have off-corner engagement in the box end.

If neither are the long pattern then might as well stay with the KD wrenches. If the SK was the long pattern, then I'd switch.

I think that the KD wrenches are now branded Gearwrench (both ratcheting and non-ratcheting), so you might be buying a "new old stock" set, especially if they are made in the USA. SK Hand Tools are still in production and so warranty may be easier. I also really like the finish of the SK wrenches versus the KD that I have owned.

I am a biased sk fan. I love my super chromes and everything else sk for that matter. I actually had the kd wrench set you are referring to. My buddy has them now. He is a kd tool nut and traded me 2 sets of kti wrenches (full set of mm and sae) for one set of kd. If it wasn't my friend I would still have the kd ones. They were nice, but a little thicker than the super chromes.

I have a set of KD full polish wrenches; like others have said, they are similar to other Danaher products of the time. The finish isn't remotely close to Superkrome, but they work fine for me. If you are a guy that abuses tools, the SK set might be the way to go for warranty (I'm never concerned with warranty on wrenches). Is the nicer finish and potential warranty support worth the extra cost?

Keep the KD wrenches. Did you get a fully polished KD set? If so the KD chrome is just as good as the SK chrome.

The KD wrenches are better balanced than the standard length SK wrenches. They don't have all of that wide in the hips steel found around the boxed ends of SK wrenches.

Those fully polished KD wrenches are one of my favorite wrenches. They will serve you well.

It's sad that those wrenches are no longer made.

I got my sk set last week from tooltopia for $132 shipped. If you try to warranty the kd you will probly get gearwrench.

Just an FYI...the standard sk are shorter than the standard snap on. I have the long pattern super chromes and they are the same size as a standard length snap on. Just wanted to pass that along in case you get standard sk' s and wonder why they look small.

The pic is a long sk with a standard snap on for comparison.
