As I continue to unpack tools that came from my dad's estate, I came across a n SK 45175 3/8" Drive Ratchet that wouldn't ratchet.
I remember using this tool as a kid, nearly 50 years ago. Of course, I took it apart and cleaned it. After reassembling it, it still skipped.
On the odd chance that parts were available, I called SK. In less than 5 minutes, the rebuild kit was on the way. The woman in customer service was beyond exceptional. I offered to buy the kit, she told me it was a warranty item.
In less than a week, the parts were delivered and installed.
I can't say enough good about SK.
Try getting that level of service from a company on the Pacific rim
