HEY GUYS. I RECENTLY PICKED UP AN OLD SK TOOLBOX FOR $40. I WAS WONDERING A FEW THINGS

ARE THESE THINGS RARE?

HOW MUCH ARE THEY WORTH RESTORED?

wHAT COLORS DID THEY COME IN?

HOW MANY TOOLS CAN I HAVE IN IT?


DOES ANYONE HAVE PICTURES OF THESE COOL OLD BOXES?

steve, somewhat rare, why would you want to sell?, most likely only green but maybe gray/silver, as many as it will hold. yes pics please search my thread history for my pics. sorry so short i am late for a meeting

on further thought i may have given you bad info. your size box may have been more likely to be red. post some pics for a better idea. that may have been a rebranded waterloo.

Toolboxes, unless they are truck brand or Plomb, do not have much value.
Value would vary greatly depending on the age and condition of the box. If it has the old metal SK shield/emblem it's probably worth something. If it's from sometime around the 1960's and newer then it's only value is as a user.
Even a restored vintage SK box would have difficulty bringing more then $40.
I have on old hip roof SK that I store my Bonney tools in. It is an olive drab/dark green color that had some kind of texture/wrinkle to it.
