Just got an email from them. Not sure if it's a targeted email or not but here's the fine detail.

I can also say it does apply to Steals/Deals. Put a couple of things in my cart I was considering, and code took 30% off.

I just added one t-shirt to the cart and entered the DADSDAY30 code and hit the APPLY button. It puked that the coupon code was not valid.

I'm pretty sure they changed the wording on the exclusions and added, "May not be combined with SK Club Pro rewards or any other coupon or promotional discounts."

I'm quite certain when I first looked at this it did not say anything after the SK club rewards.

If they finally caught that it *****, I've used discount codes on a bunch of steals and deals that I wouldn't have bought otherwise. Some pretty solid deals were available that way.

It’s seems to be item specific. It may have to do with the percent off already taken in the S&D section.

Just as a FYI I recently was able to purchase from the SK steals and deals section with the discount code for my birthday month. I was able to get on of the new LP90 1/4 flex head ratchets for $47!

Looks like the prices on Amazon are about the same as with the 30% discount on the SK site...

Not to clutter the thread up, but I agree 100%. I thought maybe I'd give them a look with this discount and nothing stood out to me over the brands you mentioned.
