SK Tools is offering 30% off for Black Friday. The discount code is SKHOLIDAY30 to get it.

I took a look at some of the prices and they seem a little on the high side from what I remembered, but with the 30% discount it makes them pretty reasonable if you were looking for some good quality US made tools. For example, the 3-piece LP90 set ends up being $210 after discount. Not bad for some really nice ratchets.

You might want to verify they are still USA made. I saw a ratchet set today that is sk, all made in china including the ratchet. Real shame. The lp90 may still be but im not sure.

Yup. And don't trust the packaging. SK has been mixing in old stock USA tools with new ones made in China.

The picture on the website still shows USA made. I know, I know...I also saw a video where they claimed all chrome sockets and ratchets would continue to be US made, so I guess THAT'S not the case.

There is a set on scamazon right now in foam, I didnt see it on the sk website but it is on the sk store on amazon. All chinese. Set looks nice, but we all know how that goes. I may be wrong but I think these are legit sk. A lot of new pliers on there also, all chinese. 1000000539.jpg

I bought a number of sockets last month and all were stamped USA. Very nice quality.
Im glad you were able to get good ones. I have a lot of sk tools and love what I do have. I just wont be buying more for the same reason I quit buying craftsman long ago. When I do need a quality US built tool replaced, I dont want a chinese knock off. I had to get an X frame wrench replaced earlier this year and did get an American one, but that ship seems to have sailed. Next time I need to replace one Ill just buy a different brand.
