SK Tools Date Codes

Does SK date code their tools in any way? I know most makers do, but I’ve never heard about SK doing it.

Only on pliers and adjustable wrenches because they were made by WF and WF used to date code for Sears. Ideal continued it on SK and Ideal pliers and adjustables and on Ideal screwdrivers. The code is AA: fiscal year 2011, AB: FY 2012, etc. Then for the 2020s they did AJ: 2020, then AK for 2021 but they changed it later to BA.

They are "date coded" as far as how their logo and name has changed over the decades, but you are not going to get too accurate an age.
