If you don't think you can buy good quality tools for low prices take a look at this set. I don't think you will find it cheaper anywhere.
15 pieces set. 1/4" to 1"

Why would you pay tuck price or go by Craftsman at this price. I have the set in regular and long pattern. I have been using them for 40 years. My Snap-on's never get used. Neither do my Craftsman for that matter.

Just though I would pass on a great deal. You can't buy the C man professional ones for this price.

I'm not a big fan of SK combination wrenches. Don't get me wrong, I have many SK tools but, I've never cared for their wide in the hips, extra steel boxed end on their combination wrenches.

This is just a matter of personal preference for me. I liked the Danaher made Craftsman Pro wrenches that you can still find under the Craftsman Industrial banner, or Proto, Wright, or Williams supercombos. I'm not bringing truck brands into the mix.

If your willing to buy imports, Carlyle and Gearwrench aren't a bad choice and can be found well below that price point.:dunno:

My main wrenches are ProTo, SK and SnapOn..
Which one I use depends upon what I am working on..
Sometimes I want that extra beef found in my SK,
other times I need to sneak into a tight spot with a SnapOn.
I like the feel and length of my ProTo wrenches..

One thing that I dislike is a wrench that will flex or spread under load; traits that are
typical of many dime store tool lines..
.
You get what you pay for......That is a good price for that quality SK set... Money well spent if those wrenches will fit your needs....

The pricing is also similar to Williams SuperCombos. I wish there was someplace local that sold SK or Wright. I'd really like to compare the 3.

I have compared these SK to some Gearwrench and I like the SK better. The SK are a little more money but the beams are not bent from the factory like my Gearwrenches were. The GW bend is not bad enough to warranty but I find myself grabbing for the SK's first.

That set will last a lifetime. I have the same set and use it daily.

The open ends are very tough and I have yet to broach one, unlike my Blue Points, Craftsman RP and Pros. The handles are thicker than Snap on's, so take that for what it's worth.

Sk and Snap On are similar. I prefer the box end on the sk because it is blended into the handle very smoothly and doesn't catch on things.

My comparison is a an Long pattern sk super chrome and snap on oex14b. My sae sk set is the older finish and wouldn't compare well.

I have a mix of SK, Williams, and Wright. Out of all of them I like the Wright the most. The Satin finish is awesome and the length is perfect. I like the SK but it feels very skin to me. Love the SuperCombos I have as well. IMO can't go wrong with either!

I like and use long pattern SK wrenches. Also own and use Wright, SO, and some german wrenches too.

Ive had that set ( although my tray is green) for a few years and use them all the time and still look perfect, both the chrome and the open ends, ( im not a tool polisher but i give em a quick wipe before putting them away). Never noticed any issues with the ends being too bulky compared to my other similar tier wrench sets, although my snappies are a slimmer, their price isnt comparable.
