Assuming you get it: That box looking doodad attached to the back of the cabinet covers the vent. Stuff a piece of foam in it so it can still breathe without blowing dust out the back. I used a lump from an old car wash sponge.

went and looked at it . its got a full load of glass bead in it . she is super clean for her age and well taken care of . it was used 90% of the time to prep parts for re-plating of the surface finish .

its still on the shipping pallet and this makes it easy for me with the pallet jack and low drop door trailer .

thanks for the help guys and now to just go get it picked up .:bounce::pimpflash

I bought a 970 used for 1200 from a friend. There wasn't a scratch on it, looked like brand new and I knew he takescare of stuff. Figured i saved a few hundred plus the 200 extra they wanted to ship a new one. Only really used it once since i got it, but nice to have if needed.

o she works like a champ . glad i finally paid up for my own box . cleaned up a aluminum intake manifold for a friend and glass beaded the runners all out and he was super happy with the results .

already got mods in mind . . .

foot pedal is hard fitting hosed in and no real swivel or flex . so i got some more flexzilla fittings coming to make it male/female coupling and flex a bit as i was all out of my stock already .
next is a got a 4ft and 6ft flexzilla whip line to go from the foot pedal to the box face . i will swap the rubber grommet to a bulk head fitting . then a flexzilla on the gun hose to be more free in your hand and not fight the hose and gun . i will figure out the suction hose also if its to stiff .

the next upgrade was the single 55watt flood light . did some looking and the top one to keep popping up was direct from skat blast and i wasnt searching there name . 33" wide single tube LED 2x mag mount direct plug in unit for 59.00 plus s/h best price i found at over half a dozen places all the same price point .

cant wait to get the upgrades done and try her out again . ! ! !

also noticed the I.R. compressor is real nice but not as quiet as my all rubber mounted unit i built . so at some point this one will get the rubber mounting mods .

got a new flexzilla hose for the cabinet inlet to the gun . also a 1/4" female / female bulk head fitting to ditch the rubber grommet setup . much better already over the older hose .

next was a new skat blast 33" mag mount led light upgrade . WAY BETTER_RRRRR light output and fill in the box .

few more parts on the way yet tho .

pic 1 with shop lights on . pic 2 just the box led light on . :shocking::thumbup::bowdown:

I'm going to upgrade the lighting in my 960. That one spotlight is not enough and shadows.

tp tools and equipment on ebay was my low price find when i looked . and members here link them in also for good service . https://www.ebay.com/itm/33-Wide-Su...e=STRK:MEBIDX:IT&_trksid=p2057872.m2749.l2649

i was thinking 70.00 for a led light . . . . its worth it . easy hook up and install with the 2 magnets already on it .

its so easy if the hole was already there its a plug / click / fire up and done install . took me longer to run the wire the way i wanted it .
