Anyone have any experience retrofitting jacks with nylon wheels, specifically skateboard wheels?
I'll be sure to post pics of the catastrophe if I do try it though haha. If any, it'll just drop an inch when the wheels give out and the jack frame falls to the ground. The caster idea mentioned above gave me, well, an idea. Maybe I can harvest some low=profile wheels from there.
The link below shows an optional nylon wheel kit for Norco jacks. Other manufacturers also offer similar kit for their jacks. So, yes, jacks can use nylon wheels specifically made for this purpose.
By the way, skateboards wheels are usually made from urethane because these are softer than nylon and have much better traction.
