Looking for ideas on storing skateboards, scooters, etc.

Please post photos if you have seen or crafted something cool.

I haven't done it yet but have been thinking of making a skateboard rack. I've gotten a few ideas from using google image search.
Haven't seen anything I like for the scooters yet. Luckily there are only two of those so they don't take too much room.

A friend of mine used dowels mounted to 2x4s to make shelves. really easy and had a lot of boards in a small space

I would think that a french cleat screwed along the wall big enough to hold the wheels would work fine.

If you wanted to go cool, you could restore up some older skateboard decks and make a peg-board type hanging system out of the decks.

A lot of pro skateboarders do that.

Or you could do something like this:

That's a really clever idea, and with some basic woodworking skills, not terribly difficult. Even if it comes out rough, that kind of adds to the flavor.

It looks like you can buy it from that website too for $35.

I'd suggest you go to a local skate shop and take a peak how they store their completes
