Been using this type sealed bearing over the last year, they are better than standard bearings.
Just replaced sealed bearings on my two Baldor 500 grinders. Less vibration, motors taking a good bit longer to heat up, less running temp, motor takes a lot longer to spin down; I was most interested in lowering the vibration, which they do. Odd part is I need to order them from England via Ebay, I have not found a local supplier yet.
