My wife's uncle is cleaning out his shop and had this old corded Skill Planer 676 Type 1. I installed a cord on it to see if it works. It works great, bearings sound smooth and motor seems strong. I did not test it on a piece of wood. I would like to post it on the classifieds, but wanted to see what value might be. I do not believe Ebay is the best guage as I see anywhere from $300 to over $1000. Thoughts?

If those are actual SOLD listings I guess it is market value. If current listings... Not at all an actual value. Search as SOLD.
Also check if blades are available. Is it in good working condition?

Thanks for the tip, searched sold listings and found $300 to $350. I looked and it seems blades can be purchased. Yes, seems to be in good working order. The cord that I installed is a bit short, so I would suggest a new one be installed. I will work on listing it in the classified section.
