I just came across this Skil Saw today at an estate sale, and I was surprised to see one this old. When I plugged it in it fired right up without a problem. Even the power cord and plug are in good shape. The tag says that it is a model E, built around 1924. Was this the very first worm drive saw that Skil ever built? And does anyone else here own one? It is surprisingly heavy and well built.
