I know this is kind of Off-topic because it relates to an a/c unit pad and not a garage floor, however it is in regards to concrete, so what the hey...
I poured some concrete for my a/c unit (home sized unit)to be placed. The outcome left much to be desired on the finish, as some of the concrete got wet before setting up properly. Does anyone know of a way to do a skim-coating of a grout-like substance to make the surface look better before putting the a/c unit on it?
I think I've heard of people doing a layer of grout to finish off a layer of concrete that has set-up to make it better looking...and since it's for a static object to be placed, it won't wear.
Thanks for any suggestions!
