This year's first riding on the circuit, temperatures around 0 ° C, but new Nankang AR-1 tires seem like a very good choice!

Enjoy watching :)

Hi Tuner,

I’m an American living in Hradec Králové. Are you coming to the action at Letiste HK for the Air show and rally ?
A friend of mine owns H&M Racing and we plan on racing in the event. If you get a chance to make this way it would be great to meet a fellow Garage Journal junkie.

Stan

Hi Stan, I do not have this action plan. This year we are going to the Nordschleife and Spa in June, so I'm sort of chosen :)

Iv been following this thread and i like how nice your car looks. I have a question about an old skodas. Is it easy to get parts for em? Im looking for a new classic daily drive or resto/drive. The photo is the one im thinking of getting. I dont like the bumper, but when i Google i see very few cars With that bumper. Do you have any info on that car? Its a Skoda 105 L from 1982.

Leadfot: An interesting piece. It is one of the last narrow and therefore has no chrome bumpers but these plastic (Prepreg). The parts on the Škoda cars are all the more complicated. Škoda auto a.s. he does not have a nice and original parts to these older distributors, and it's about happiness on stock exchanges or advertising on the Internet. In stores, they either do not have or usually have poor quality crops. I would like to write better information, but unfortunately it is.

Matias: It was a great experience for us. Green hell is alive altogether different than one can imagine from onboard.

I cant say iv seen any of this cars at car shows. They are rare here and this one is cheap. about 500 euro. And if you deliver it to a junk yard you get 300 euro back. I dont think they ever will become valuable. But i do think they are Worth saving and drive to car shows. But i want a daily driver. I still dont know what to do.

It's good to buy at that price, the prices in the Czech Republic are going up. Cars have disappeared after the introduction of an eco fee for the sale and transcription of the vehicle. A lot of car owners had to dispose of it rather than sell it. :(

Miss the Pontiacs: I wrote a private message. Unfortunately, I'm busy with time, I'm doing at home and the winter is coming.

After more than 16 years I woke the sleeping princess. Škoda 130L original production year 1985. Driven only 32.000km.

Now that is a nice find! Any plans for it? Keeping it stock and enjoying it as a "new" car? Will it get some daily car duties?

Matias: The plan is to keep it as the original. The car has veteran papers / brands. Use only during the summer for veteran events.

Do you have any restrictions and/or more easy things going when it is a veteran car?

In Finland, a veteran car can only be used for 30 days during the year (it is on you to prove the mileage/days). On the other hand, the insurance is cheap and MOT is not yearly as with normal cars.
