The original sprays were removed from the lower part of the body, newly reinforced and painted.

I sprayed the sills, pillars and front panel and window frame on the body. It was all very much damaged by stones. I did the varnish myself at home and I think it worked.

Thank you. Unfortunately, I don't speak English well and I don't understand the question? do you mean protective foil?

Awesome work as usual! The car was already spotless imo and now you're bringing it to an even higher level.

Keep up the good work!

I've been considering a protective film, but a good 3M costs a lot more than a new paint and I don't believe it can withstand stones when riding on a circuit.

Will be nice if the rollbar installed in the Facebook pictures adds to the track performance from stiffening the chassis as well as protecting the driver. Hope you get it back together in time to track it this year, COVID-19 permitting!

I envy your spacious, spotless garage!

Found this thread and loving the Skoda!

Je krasna! :)

I picked a 120GLS to restore myself. It will be a while before I get to it though. :(
My absolute dream is 110R. I don't think I will ever get one as the prices have skyrocketed and importing one into Canada would add more costs. My dad who passed away when I was young had one and I long after one ever since.

So, if you find one nearby, let me know! :) I'll trade my Canadian-spec 120GLS project for it. :)

I toast a dark Kozel to you! Prosit!

I was in Prague in June 2019, lovely lovely city. I could spend a week or a month there easily. My wife's maiden name is Kafka, so she has a connection in her history to Prague. I have a connection to the Ogar 350 through my dad. His last bike before we left Holland in 1959 was a 1950 350 Ogar. I so want to find a 1950 Ogar 350 or 350 Perak. I would even pay to ship a 350 Ogar or Perak to the US if I could find one.

andyvh1959: I prefer the bright Kozel :) Prague is a beautiful city, just as JAWA did motorcycles. Unfortunately, there are a lot in the course as well as Škoda cars and they are very overvalued financially.
