My footings will have a 7" lip on either side of the concrete block. When your garage was built, was crushed stone put on top of the lip, so that the slab maintained a uniform thickness from block wall to block wall, or did you pour concrete down to the lip, creating a vertical edge of the slab that catches the lip on each side? When using insulation, the first option seems more logical to me.
Also, I am using 2" insulation under the slab. Should I also use insulation between the slab and the block walls, and if so, how thick?
