I have been looking and learning. Starting a garage build myself.28x32,2x6 walls 12 ft. tall.Trusses for roof .Tearing down small garage down at the moment.
In build pictures people are using re-bar.My question is how much spacing between sticks of 1/2 in. Thanks to everyone for all the build pictures.Really helps a lot.

One word of advice. Make sure the corners are tamped down extra firm before pouring and concrete. A corner will usually settle more than any other area due to the fact that there is more of an open area when the footers are dug. It seems like every garage around this area settles at a corner and that is right where the water goes and puddles. If I had it to do over again, I would have tamped, wetted, retamped, and had the concrete poured just a little higher at the corner to make sure the water goes out towards the door.
