I've got an unusual shop in that the structure is old but the location is relatively new. I think the slab would have been poured around 2007. Anyway I noticed one corner is moving, essentially sinking in the corner at the edge of the shop and rising in the opposite corner of the slab (each square is about 15 by 15 and the shop is 30 by 50). I caulked this seam with the light gray caulk in the spring. I highlighted it with the red marks hopefully that's visible. So it's moved in the last several months and I'm wondering what might be causing this... water issues outside, tree roots (several big trees near) or something else like normal settling. Am I dealing with a major problem? Any thing I can do to slow or remediate this issue? The foundation has a fresh crack as well but it doesn't seem to have moved as much.
Thanks!
