Slab pass thrus?

I’m planning a new shop build. Lots of questions but let’s keep this to planed pass thrus. I do not currently have any mechanical designs on the plans as I just want the structure permits and get it up. After it is up I will want to add electric, water, sewer, externally housed compressor, mini split, etc.
question is how do I place and what material for these penetrations? Just some abs going thru the slab and footers? Just a u capped at both ends?

Seems like it would be much easier to plan ahead then bore later. Opinions?

I have done both, to be honest I prefer to bore later. Conduit and pvc pass thru for drains make it a pain to finish the concrete right and level and I have had to chip and grind to level it out later.

But i also have an SDS max monster Bosch rotary hammer with 24” bits to do so.

I would absolutely do everything I could to keep the minisplit lines out of the dirt/slab and any chance of setting in the water. Go up and over or thru the wall high up for that.
