Slatwall install

Hi everyone..

I'm installing slatwall in the garage. A portion will go above the pipes for the water filtration system that we will not install. My stud finder beeps above the pipes however I am weary of putting holes around the area and dont want to drill Into any pipes. Anyone know what is behind these pipes so I can do it with piece of mind? I could get a better stud finder... here's a pic...

why noy just cut a hole and look? You'll be covering the hole with slatwall...

In case you don't know it, put the screws in the slots and then cover them with the tape that fills the joints for a total fastener free look.
