Sleeves on PEX for Radiant?

Hi all, sorry for skipping any kind of introduction post but I need some answers and quick since the concrete trucks are coming in 3 days.

I'm in the middle of building a 50'x60'x14' shop. The plumber came out and laid the radiant tubes last Friday while I was at work. He used Slabshield insulation under the wire and zip tied all the tubes down. 8 runs right at 300' each and one run that came out right around 200' That all looks fine. However, my concern is that he didn't put any conduit sleeves on the PEX where it will be coming through the slab and the loops are already tied together and pressurized. The manifold and furnace will be located (protected) in a separate furnace room. The GC is coming back to pour the slab on Thursday morning.

So, is it imperative to have the conduit sweeps on the PEX where they exit the slab? To fix it would require me scrambling to get the plumber back out in the next two days to cut the test manifold off, put the conduit on, and rebuild the test manifold and pressurize.

Picture for reference:

Some foam pipe insulation will do the job as well, doesn't look as nice as a pvc 90 but you can add it now with no problems.

Not as well, since the main function of a sleeved PEX tubing in a concrete floor is to protect it from shear. But better than nothing.

By the way, there is no such thing as a sub-slab radiant barrier. It is properly called a conductor, the opposite in fact of an insulator. I hope others will benefit by your admitted mistake and shy away from all low-bids and foil insulation sold for radiant heating applications.
