So I'm looking for reccomendations for slide hammers- nothing too expensive (try and stay away from the Big 3). SK had a model for around 40 dollars, anyone have any input? It will be used for mainly rear end bearings etc.

Thanks in advance.

I have one from Harbor Freight. Haven't used it much, but a slide hammer to me isn't exactly a precision tool.

the one i use is homemade, slice of 2 inch bar stock and a slice of 3 inch bar stock (interchangeable for the size of the job) with hole in the middle, rod with one end threaded, made several tapped ends for it to accomodate different tips/bolts. works very nicely, i can adjust the weights with the bar stock and change the tips out as needed.

Yea, I shoudl have made myself more clear. I was looking for the slide hammer and the attachments, not just the slide. Anyone have any reccomendations, or are they all about the same? I just dont want the attatchments to break.
