Howdy
Hey, has anybody ever done this before? I've got a 12" HF compound miter saw that I'm looking to build a slide out table for in my garage. The saw currently sits on my bench but I need more room to cut longer pieces occasionally so I thought it would be nice if I could scoot it out about a foot. I was thinking the easiest thing would be to make a table, build a frame , mount it on some drawer sliders and secure it all to the bench but I'm worried that they may not take the weight. I would hate to have them buckle over and drop the saw on my toes. I'd appreciate any input, thanks!
