I am looking to purchase my first real tool cabinet. I would like something like a cross between the following:

Harbor Freight ITEM # 95272
http://www.harborfreight.com/five-drawer-service-cart-95272.html

Snap-On Roll Cart, Sliding Top, 2 Drawers, Red, Blue-Point Stock#: KRBCSST
http://buy1.snapon.com/catalog/item.asp?store=snapon-store&item_ID=81189&group_ID=21364

I like the drawer layout of the Harbor Freight one but I want a sliding top like the Snap-On one. I bought my dad the Harbor Freight one for Christmas to at least have a place for commonly used tools that he can move around. I think it is a great buy. It's surprisingly heavy for an overseas Harbor Freight product. I just don't like the swing-up top.

I am no mechanic but I do all my own work on my vehicles and I enjoy tinkering. I have limited space to work which is why I would like using the top of a slide-top cart like the Snap-On one but I need drawers for the stuff I will be accumulating. Most carts have full-length drawers like the Snap-On one. I want some variation like the Harbor Freight ones.

I may just end up going with this if I can't find what I'm looking for but I don't know if I will really have space for it...

Any of you tool veterans have some suggestions?

Snap-On sold a Blue Point version of its slide top cart.

Was either a 3dwr or 4 dwr cart with the 2 piece sliding top that moved outward to reveal the top storage.

I;ve seen them go used recently on Craigslist from $275 to $375, but outside of the truck brands and the slide top Excel cart that Sears used to carry, they are somewhat hard to find in the lower price range.

Thanks for the quick reply. I realize I'm being picky but all the slide-tops that I find have the same size drawers more or less and usually not very many. The one on the first Harbor Freight link I posted has a better variety of drawers unfortunately no slide top.
