Did anyone go Barret Jackson - Scottsdale this year?

I saw these shelves that slide side to side, but the shelves are perpendicular to what normal shelves are. They are designed to add more sliding shelves, just add more track.

The demo had a desk at one end instead of shelving.

I was hoping someone knows the brand name. Can't find jack on google.

They are like this picture but not as deep, maybe 3ft and shelves are for garages.

those are some variation of high density filing cabinets or shelves. you can try datum storage solutions or mayline or hdspacesaving

typically see them in medical document retention facilities, law firms or document control centers.

most of those systems are customizable for whatever you'd like to store. file boxes, hooks, integrated desks or work surfaces.

you name it.

appreciate the input, but missing my point...the concept is the same as medical files. They slide together but they are contructed like your typical metal garage shelves and ride on rail on the floor.

so in a foot print of 8 feet you have 3 walls that slide side to side so you can reach either side of the shelve. One end has a work bench tucked inside.

once you see them you will want them.

Another use for those type of cabinets back in the 70's and 80's were Tape Storage Cabinets in Data Centers. over the yrs those were trashed for other types of storage. A friend outfitted his garage with them USED for under $1,000. A lot of them were just scrapped.
Look at the used commercial office equipment businesses.

Were they the racks that are on the show Garage Rehab with Richard Rawlings?
Looks like them!

Levrack!!!
You are the man!

You guys should see this thing.

Sadly $2850 might be out of budget for now.

I don't remember the one at Barret Jackson having a Heavy Duty rack on top.
Maybe there is a cheaper brand.

They use those shelves on most of their shows.
Super cool and look impressive.
Never looked into pricing but like anything else, you pay for what you want or need.

At $2800 definite meh on the garage ones as they are only 3 feet deep. No need to have a moving aisle, just have shelves across the wall. You might be better with 2-1/2' deep regular shelves. Same storage area with less footprint.

The deeper ones like the OP posted would be worth it as shelves that deep would be ridiculously deep. So, a moving aisle lets you access the back of your storage. I want a set of deep ones for my shop!!!

you could prob diy one of the levrack ones for around $1000. Use a pallet rack style shelf from lowes for the frame. You could then use similar wire racking. The tough part would be the sliding mechanisim. I think a guy did a sliding shelf with unistrut.
