Slightly odd design of impact torx bits

I've come across these sets of impact torx, available under two different brands here in the UK (Sealey AK5621 and Laser 7978), both are just importers/rebadgers.

They seem slightly different to the normal sets you can buy – They are 3/8 drive but with an external 17mm hex which corresponds to a special locking 17mm socket also supplied. Also available in square and spline kits of the same design from both suppliers.

Only difference between them being one includes and additional adapter.
They seem well made enough, claim CR-MO, I'm suspecting TW as COO.

Anybody knows who makes this set, is it available under any brands in the U.S?

Astro Pneumatic has a bunch of sockets like that called Nano sockets. When used with a 17mm spanner they make a nice low profile for access to tight spots.

That's what I would have posted. The 17mm hex and 3/8 drive strongly hinted at the Astro/Husky/Sunex products.

My first thoughts were Astro, but I couldn't find anything like that from them - although a similar idea the design is different from the nano style sockets.

Sunnex was a good shout, I'd forgotten about them - they don't appear to have anything similar unless I’m being blind, but was worth a look.

I'm just curious as there doesn't seem to be much info on these, and I find it very hard to believe these are made exclusively for Sealey/Laser, given that most of everything they sell is available under a dozen other brands.
