Slim/Thin Bit Holder?

Can someone recommend a thin/slim bit holder? I saw a super slim Kobalt bit holder that was part of a big kit of garbage...but they didn't sell it individually. I see that Wiha offers one that they call slim, but the Kobalt appeared to be much more thin. I am tired of buying long p2 bits that wear out quickly and I would love to get a short and long slim bit holder so that I can use some Apex bits or something.

Impact would be nice...but not required.

these guys are pretty thin, they have a c-clip to hold in the bit which works quite well, don't get the bit stuck in the fastener as often as just a magnetic holder. they come in a bunch of different lengths also.

The Milwaukee Shockwave bit holders are my favorites now and run as true as the day is long.

Can be had in 4 different lengths starting with a shorty 2.36" version then 3" 6" and 12".


I have a pile of cheap bit holders that all spin crooked and I love to give them away to cheapskates that want to "borrow" a bit holder when on a job. For a long time I had a slide collar Dewalt that was great but seems that I lost that one somewhere too.
