Saw one on display earlier this year at the Brainerd, MN NHRA drag races. Had a good time razzing the Polaris Rep that they had to put a GM EcoTec motor in it to finally have something with a reliable motor. Don't get me wrong, I am a diehard Polaris addict and love my '14 Pro, but they just don't build the motors like they used to.

The Slingshot looks awesome and I would love to drive one, but I am a little nervous about pushing it hard on the curves. Think about how easy it is to break loose the rear end on a sports car in a corner. Now try doing the same thing with a single, overpowered rear wheel. Seems like you could get yourself in trouble pretty quickly.

@ my age i have been lookin @ trikes so i can stay in the wind. ( its getting harder for my old legs to hold my yamaha venture up) that slingshot is about half the cost of the standard trikes. Lookin to test one real soon

If you live in Texas be careful if you buy a Slingshot, you can't license it.

Had a ride in one several weeks ago -- was prepared to be disappointed but actually a great ride. Build quality/fit & finish was very good, tilt wheel, back-up camera, handled great, rode firm but not jarring. Fast -- not Hayabusa fast but more than capable of moving with traffic. Little hard on my old knees, [getting in -- I'm 60] -- but not hard enough to keep me from seriously considering getting one this spring. I liked it -- a lot! Dealer was cool as hell -- Hermitage Polaris in Hermitage, PA [western PA]

Had a guy bring one by my work today for a quote on a new sound system. Pretty cool.
