I'd only own one that opens up. Used to use one at my former employer and could never go back. But they're not cheap and I imagine yours was far more budget friendly. Good job
Ya , I have less that a hundres bucks into this , using some scrap i had laying around . just need to get some iron and build a stand . and a 1/2 link to shorten the chain
I have great respect for people that remember to take pictures during a build . sadly im not one . a quick rundown is that the rollers are made from 1.315 hollow round tubin . a 5/8 nut would just slip in snug , so i drilled out the threads . 6 nuts per roller , 5/8 cold rolled shaft . the end plates are 3/4 plate . i bored the holes for the bearings with a 1 3/16 hole saw
