Picked this up earlier this year. Was missing some parts that I've been replacing. Had an adapter made to fit the 4" Craftsman long c chuck. Made by Watson Mfg.
I didn't like the four jaws. Then fitted a 5" Atlas 3 jaw. It came with one collet. It had a nine piece collet set before it went to auction a couple years. Sold in the Buffalo NY area. If anyone knows who might have any parts for it let me know.

You have a beautiful high-quality second operation lathe there. I don’t know your background in machining but absence of a lead screw and powered carriage drive will limit you from doing thread-cutting, facing or shaft work. It will excell in collet work and finishing operations. Looks like it’s been well cared for.

I have an Atlas H-48 for serious lathe work. I got the Sloan & Chase on a trade for its "cool" factor. 100+/- years old.

I am looking for schematics for a lead screw and gears for my Sloan and Chase 5 1/2 lathe. Anyone know.
