So I might as well start this, I finally bought a house (there was another thread on that) and it has a smallish 20.5x23 ft (on the inside) garage. Thought I could post some progress. I got way more suburban than I wanted to with this endeavor, but what neighborhood doesn't need a single 25 year old who likes to drink? First the house:

Here are a couple of pictures of the garage from when I got it:

I wanted to get the floor done before moving in, so that meant I'll be painting with the floor already finished:

Got the cars moved in:

So this weekend I'll be pulling down 1 shelf that I don't want, something that is maybe a pull up bar? and fixing some sheetrock, also my shed is being installed today so I can get the lawn mower and bike rack out of the garage.

Getting rid of some shelves and the ugly 2x4s with nails in them that were hung on the wall. Waiting for the patch work to dry and might even throw the paint on the walls tonight.

Really nice lawn. You must dominate your neighbors.

thanks! It definitely is the nicest in the neighborhood IMO. I got lucky the last owner took really good care of it, I'm just doing my best to keep up appearances.

Walls are painted, ready for a stripe in a few days.

What floor paint is that? I like it!

It's not paint, it's an epoxy coat and polyaspartic clear coat from kretus. I ended up calling in a pro for that and they did a great job.

Sorry, I didn't mean actual paint but rather I should have asked how/who applied it. Thanks!

Ah yeah! In that case, they grinded the concrete, primed, epoxied and clear coated. I'm super happy with it so far, accidentally dropped my 3/8 socket wrench from ceiling height while removing the pull up bar and zero damage.

Sorry for the potato quality picture. It's from my first car a 1994 Camaro v6 that after 3 years I plowed into a telephone pole. Also the car that got me hooked on f-bodies.
