Sloped Driveway Finish Suggestions

I'm still working on the house/garage plans for the lot we own in Prescott Arizona. I'd like to ask about the best way to finish the long sloped driveway since they do get a touch of snow at that mile high altitude. Not a lot at any one time but enough that I'm wondering how the concrete should be finished.
Coming up from the street, the driveway won't have a severe slope but it will be sloped enough that I would like to hear some suggestions on how it should be finished to aid traction in the winter months. It's a hilltop lot and luckily the driveway faces due South with no shade from trees or terrain.
Thanks, Mike T.

Would a Broom Finish be rough enough by itself or would there also have to be what I'd describe as additional 'expansion joints', maybe at an angle so that any water/ice buildup would drain off?

I see a drive done on a steep grade, they used a leave rake [ the kind that has tangs] removed ever other tang. done texture on angle[ not on a 90 degree to edge of slab. So water run off good. Texture not to deep.

Broom finish should be good enough. Any more than that and it will hold dirt in the grooves. How long do you have snow on the ground when you get snow?

In Prescott AZ, it seems they get about 20 inches of rain per year and about 24 inches of snow but from what I've heard from folks down there, it's kinda rare for the snow to build up more than a couple inches at a time. It sounds like even with the slope of our long driveway, a brush finish should be adequate.
Thanks all for the input.
