The floor in my garage is sloped towards the driveway. I would like to build a workbench out of two 44"HF tool boxes. Would it be better to build a frame for the tool boxes and put leveling legs on it or try to level the concrete floor?

This is the wall where it will go.

That piece of wood that the level is sitting on is 3/4"

I like leveling feet. it makes it easier to construct your workbench frame and not have to worry about the uneven floor; the leveling feet will compensate it.

My work bench adjustable feet are DIY carriage bolt feet. I built my 10' work bench out of Unistrut. I have a plate welded with a nut and used carriage bolt as the feet. It works well for me.

Rockler leveling feet are easy to attach and have up to a five inch lift.

I have built both for a slope and with leveling feet.
the one built for the slope touched the floor across the whole 18' width front and back and was lagged in to the wall studs. Immovable.

Feet are going to get you some sway even if bolted to the wall unless you make a kick/wedge as a fill board.

Either way works.
ALL of mine from here on out will be on feet...because you'll never be able to use that custom sloped one anywhere else. ...

Which feet did you use? Do you have a picture of your setup?

Wood shims- cheap, strong, and they work great. Your house is full of them...why not your workbench as well?

I'm also planning a rolling work bench right now, and have to accomodate a sloping floor that drops a bit over 1" over the 8' or so that the total bench will span. I'm just going to install a hinged block on the low end and just fold the block underneath the bench after lifting it up a bit.
