Thanks man I haven't heard of those brands before!

Lista looks really interesting. I'll get to looking at the other ones later today) The main downside I see is shipping. If I buy SO or another truck brand, I think the local truck will bring it to my apartment and I can inspect it. With a cart shipped via freight service, I'm concerned about damage during shipping.

I have seen hundreds of lista's & vidmars in machine shops and for sale used, including ones that people have dropped 150lb+ chucks and vises into. The only one I have ever seen with dents was run into by a forklift (not during shipping). Usually, the only damage I've seen is rust from people installing them outside and leaving them there for a decade or four. The cart-sized ones still have a few hundred (actually, like 400+) pounds of shipping weight -- they are pretty heavy duty. The guy who owns the company with the links I posted is a distributor and posts here sometimes -- I'm sure he would make sure they are well protected during shipping. If they are crated, then it would take an awful lot to put a dent in during shipping.

Actually, I've done some LTL freight shipping without a crate (just on a pallet), and I've had no trouble with shipping damage (knock on wood). Assuming your item is only being lifted by the pallet, there's not much that would dent it, unless a forklift operator decides to charge it jousting style with the forks raised high? Obviously, this is assuming you are receiving an LTL freight shipment -- not going through UPS (don't go through UPS!).

Also, your profile doesn't show a location, but I'm sure you have a distributor for Lista in the nearest industrial area.
