Small Case- Solved at least temp

I was asking about a small case to store some measuring tools. Well I have a solution but not sure if it's final or not. I used a plastic storage clipboard from Staples and got some thin foam sheet from AC Moore.

I might go with a metal version if this proves convenient. It's a little wimpy but for now it will do.

Maybe this can inspire some new ideas.

Looks great! A proper truck stop store or an online police supply place will find you an aluminum version of that, worthy of the tools and conversion work.

Even Staples had an aluminum version but it was shrink wrapped so I couldn't look inside.

If you have a metal brake, you could bend yourself up a nice little aluminum box and put it together with pop rivets.
