Hi, I searched but only found large floor cabinets or upright cabinets. I recently got some small automotive collectables but I have nowhere to put them. I have some glasses that I want to display but I'm afraid if I just put them on a shelf ill knock them over with a broom handle or something.

I dont know if anyone has any ideas about how I can enclose it, Id also like a light on the bottom and white glass??? so you cant see the light. Any ideas, preferably some that dont take a TON of skill. My grandfather was an incredible wood worker so I can use his tools if I have to but i have the basics.

Thanks for the help!

i have a collection of matchbox cars (about 25 all 70-81, and 93-02 camaros ). on the list of projects is a display case for them. my plan is to repurpose a cheap medicine cabinet, the ones that set into the wall. set it into the wall and replace the door w/ plexiglass, put a few more shelves in it (also plexiglass), and maybe a light or two.

Have your grandfather help you make the display case. You'll have it long after he's gone.
