Hi I’ve just settled into my first home and finally have time to work on small engines. I’m very particular with what I see now a days, the future of the gasoline small engine, hasn’t in the past 3 decades been a very bright outlook. I’m always actively reading about my countries history and the complex industries and innovative jobs people have here. It is quite sad to watch an industry die. I’ve always been surrounded by small engines, Although I didn’t want to try to fix anything until I was 15, I watched YouTube and got some advise from my grandfather who’s father was an aircraft machinist for Bell Aircraft in Buffalo Ny. He passed his tools down to me. The feel they had and the names, brands,designs were very different and I vowed to always try to buy American made tools and to try to save American made items. I have returned to loving my old small engines and really started to realize that ALOT of Briggs parts are being made overseas, same with champion and Oregon, I’m interested in buying NOS stuff, I also have some stuff I saved that’s good that I don’t have a plan for and would like to buy/sell/trade. Mostly I’m here for forum talk and informative. - Rico
