Small Garage Refridgerator - Take out Freezer Section

Ive got a small (perhaps 24 x 24) refridgerator in my garage. The tiny freezer section that I never use is hogging up precious space that could be better used for more beer.

It looks like I could just take it out. I see there is a metal line along the sidewall. Havent jumped into it yet.


I know I could just buy a bigger fridge cheap but I have other reasons for keeping it.

Some refrigerators freeze the freezer than let cold air from the freezer migrate into the refrigerator (sometimes adjustable to regulate the fridge temp). It might run all the time trying to turn itself into a freezer.
That said, anything for more beer capacity.
