garages are sparce to say the least so is off street parking. I purchased my house one year ago because it had a driveway and a garage in a neighborhood i liked. my garage is a ciderblock 18'x10'. small to say the least.
does anyone else have a small space and if so how did you organize it?
thanks,
chef

My best suggestion would be the threads in the garage gallery, there are a lot of great ideas there. I'm actually in the same boat as you, though living large with a 18x12 that is original to the 1920 home we are restoring. Eventually I will get to the garage portion!

My brother has one about the same size. He uses it for his tools and motorcycle mainly. It's a little small to park a car in and work on it. He hangs a lot of stuff on the walls and in the rafters. A shed is a necessity too if you have room for your lawn and yard stuff. That way the garage can stay a garage.

Welcome to GJ!

I have the same size garage.

Having a small space like that means you have to focus on what your uses are.

And you need to use your entire property for all the functions you have.

Tell us what things you will need to use your garage for.

And show us your garage, house and lot.

We love photos.

my goals this year are to spray foam the roof. relocate the compressor outside,
get a 50' retracktable air hose to add next to the extension cord. then maybe hvac.

I like how you are getting things off the floor.

Concrete block walls look like they would survive a hurricane, except if you're in the lower 9th ward.
