Small grinder with attachment

I see these little light duty grinders around time to time. The attachment on this one caught my eye. Looks like a sanding disc. I think...

Pretty cool, if I came across this in person it might have to come home with me.

That should be a low speed hone with a step down gear box on the other wheel...

Thanks for sharing this unique variation.

I also see these (without the attachment) around. Typically going for around $30, but I have seen them as low as $10 and as high as an aspirational $80.

I bought a $10 one for fun, and i actually use it more than I thought I would - comes in handy for small stuff.

They seem to be labeled by several different makers. I've seen the entire grinder labeled as McGraw-Edison, as opposed to the one above where just the attachment is McGraw-Edison.

I agree with you, if that one was fully functional and near me, I'd pay the $40.
